When Actors Make Music.

Entertainment is entertainment. Right? Should some actors stick to their day jobs? We have made a list of some of the most 'interesting' off screen performances of some well known celebs. Some genuinely good, some for mere novelty alone. Who did we miss?

Eddie Murphy - Most people over the age of 18 could tell you that before playing every character in every movie he is in, Eddie Murphy was actually funny, and 8 out of 10 people (see stats Can) could tell you about a little track Eddie laid down with Rick James back in '85.

Bruce Willis - back in '87 our man Bruce Willis recorded a little number in what appears to be the style of another man of the same name. Mad Respect Bruce.

Jared Leto - Arguably just as famous for his musical output, as his onscreen performances in Lord of War, Thin Red Line have cemeted Leto maintains an active presence in both facets of his celebrity career.

David Hasselhoff - Did you know that in addition to saving babes on Baywatch and rolling around in Knight Rider the Hoff had some serious fame in Germany? DU!

Zooey Deschanel - In addition to her roles in movies like 500 Days of Summer, or Yes Man Deschanel has brought her sweet charm to the mic, supported by monster of folk M. Ward as 'She & Him.' Fun fact: she is also married to Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie fame.

Steven Segal - Really.

Jamie Foxx - This star of films Bait, Jarhead shouldn't surprise anyone with his musical talents, giving audiences a taste of his range in Ray & Dreamgirls in addition to providing vocals for Kanye West's Golddigger.

Jason Shwartzman - This member of the extended Coppola family has starred in many of Wes Anderson's films along with his own HBO series 'Bored to Death.' He used to be the drummer for alternative rock band Phantom Planet and now records under the alias of Coconut Records.

William Shatner - Probably one of the weirdest celebrities people beings on this planet Shatner has recorded 6 albums in addition to his countless films and TV series.

Ryan Gosling - Star of Canadian teen sitcom Breaker High, The Believer, and of course the Notebook Gosling has a legitimately interesting band called Dead Man's Bones. Check out the creepy children of the corn choir...
